Donatello has proven himself to be an incredible sire.  His consistency earned him the Reserve Champion title at the 2008 Egyptian Event in the “Get of Sire Class”.  He has consistently sired, in all of his foals, great length and strength of hip along with a well laid back shoulder and long legs, which creates a wonderful short back and topline. Beautiful movement, strong bodies, tippy ears, and widespread eyes come through his Sameh sire line through both Grandsire and Sire, Makhsous and Makhnificent KA.  Donatello’s dam, DB Shahlaha, is from the rare *Soheir tail female line and one of the few daughters in the US by Shakhs, the 1977 World Champion Stallion at the Salon Du Cheval.

He has proven that he crosses well with a wide range of mares including daughters of Imperial Baarez, The Minstril, Imperial Madeen, Marquis I, MB Mayal, PVA Kariim, Orashan and many others.  His foals have brought home top honors in the show ring including several top 10’s in the yearling futurity classes at the Egyptian Event by his sons and daughters, Aish Amun Ra, Aishah Isis, Aish Wali, Aishah Liliyah and Aishah Nasira.  His son, Aish Al Shabah, brought home not only Reserve Champion in the older yearling colt futurity in 2009, but also 3rd place in the highly competitive Egyptian Breeders Challenge class. 

Donatello himself has an extensive show record.  He has had numerous top 10’s at the Egyptian Event.  He is a Class A Champion Stallion.  He was the Reserve Champion World Class Stallions (8 and 9 years old) at the 2009 Egyptian Event.
