Jahaara was the first Straight Egyptian mare to arrive at Sonrisa Farms.  She inspired many dreams and caused much heart ache.  After 9 pregnancies in her lifetime she has one surviving offspring, Aishah Azimah.  Her offspring seemed destined for tragedy from the start of each of their lives, but Azimah was meant to be, and is the winningest horse produced by Sonrisa Farms to date.  Jahaara eventually lost each of her ovaries to Granulosa Cell Tumors and is no longer producing.  She has found a wonderful home where she is ridden and well taken care of.
