DONATELLO KA

DONATELLO KA has six Top Tens in halter at the Egyptian Event to his credit, winning under judges from his yearling year till age eight. He is also establishing a good record as a sire of Egyptian Event winners, with a second place in the Get of Sire class in 2008. His sons AISH WALI and AISH AMUN RA and daughter AISHAH ISIS are all Egyptian Event Top Ten Futurity winners, and his son AISH AL SHABAH is an Egyptian Event Reserve Champion Yearling Futurity Colt and Top Ten EBC Colt.  DONATELLO KA ranked as a Leading Halter Sire at the 2009 Egyptian Event.

DONATELLO KA is by MAKHNIFICENT KA, who holds the distinction of being the only straight Egyptian stallion to be named both a U.S. Top Ten Sweepstakes Colt and a U.S. Top Ten Futurity Colt.  He has been an Egyptian Event Leading Halter Sire every year from 2002-2009, ranking in the top ten for three of those years. He is an international sire of champions, with his son ROYAL SPIRIT KA being named 2005 and 2007 Egyptian Event Europe Reserve Junior Champion Colt (he is also an Egyptian Event Futurity Champion and Region 9 Top Five Sweepstakes Colt). His daughter ANWAAR AL KAHERAH is the 2007 Egyptian Reserve National Champion Filly. Another daughter, NAADIRAH KA, is the 2008 Egyptian Event Reserve Junior Champion Filly.  MAKHNIFICENT KA is by MAKHSOUS, a sire of National Champions in halter (KURAAFI and ZAARIF) and performance (BINT HADDIYAH+/ in western pleasure and ZIBA JALISA+ in working cow horse) as well as National top ten winners in hunt pleasure and dressage.  MAKHSOUS is a paternal brother to U.S. National Champion Stallion and English Pleasure and National Champion sire *ASADD++ and to multi-National Champion Park and Native Costume and National Champion sire *SAKR+++.

MAKHNIFICENT KA’s dam STAR BINT HAFIZA, also produced his full brother, U.S. Top Ten Hunt Pleasure Futurity BODACIOUS KA. Three of STAR BINT HAFIZA’s grandparents (*IBN HAFIZA, DAHMAH SHAHWANIAH and THEEGYPTIANPRINCE) are National winner producers. STAR BINT HAFIZA is by Region 9 Champion Stallion IBN DAHMAHN. He is a son of the noted performance sire *IBN HAFIZA,  sire of multi-National Champion in western pleasure ALMILEEGY+++ , of U.S. Top Ten Futurity Colt and Reserve National Champion Native Costume GANAL AL ARAB+++, and of EL DAYIM++, a top ten winner in halter and western pleasure.  Three *IBN HAFIZA get have produced National winners in halter and performance, and National winner sire TAMMEN is an *IBN HAFIZA grandson.  IBN DAHMAHN’s  dam  DAHMAH SHAHWANIAH produced 4 champions, among them U.S. Top Ten Futurity Colt AK SHAH MONIET.  She is a 3/4 sister to U.S. Reserve National Champion Futurity Colt and National Champion sire SHAIKH AL BADI, founder of one of the leading sire lines in Egyptian Arabians today which includes his son, U.S. Reserve National Champion Stallion RUMINAJA ALI, grandson U.S. and Canadian National Champion Stallion ALI JAMAAL, and great-grandsons World Champion Stallion *GAZAL AL SHAQAB and U.S. Reserve National Champion Stallion THEE DESPERADO.

STAR BINT HAFIZA is out of AK AMIRI FAYROUZ, who was exported to Jordan. All of her grandparents trace to National winner producer MONIET EL NEFOUS, dam of U.S. Top Ten Stallion and National Champion sire *IBN MONIET EL NEFOUS and granddam of National Champion producers *MORAFIC and *ANSATA BINT MABROUKA. AK AMIRI FAYROUZ is by THEEGYPTIANPRINCE, a sire of National winners in halter and dressage. His daughters are exceptional broodmares, with National winning offspring in  English pleasure, hunter over fences, and western pleasure and National Champion offspring in halter and dressage.  AK AMIRI FAYROUZ is out of *MAATHER, whose sire *TUHOTMOS is the sire of National Champions in halter, trail and dressage, and grandsire of National winners in halter, western pleasure show hack, dressage , trail and native costume. *MAATHER’s dam FAYROUZ is a 3/4 sister to *SOUFIAN, sire of 2 National winners in halter and grandsire of a multi-National Champion in dressage.

DONATELLO KA is out of DB SHAHLAHA, also dam of MATISSE KA, whose daughter QUINTESSA KA is an Egyptian Event Top Ten Two Year Old World Class Filly. DB SHAHLAHA’s sons MICHELANGELO KA and DAVINCI KA were all exported, MICHELANGELO KA to Italy (where he has sired Italian halter champion RAISULI LF) and CEZANNE KA to England and DA VINCI KA to Abu Dhabi (where he has sired 2005 U.A.E. Junior Champion Filly R.S. KASIBA and the Sharjah halter winners AL ARYAM SAHARA and RS BAHEERA, and DONATELLO KA is her only son at stud in North America. DB SHAHLAHA is closely related to *AL MUDAFFAR, sire of multi-regional hunter and jumper champion MARIAH EL AASEEF+/.

DB SHAHLAHA is a 3/4 sister to U.S. National Champion Futurity Filly HEBET ALLAH (dam of World Champion Stallion HADIDI). She is by 1977 World Champion Stallion and American halter champion SHAKHS, who spent the first part of his stud career in England before being brought back to the USA. His get have been used for breeding in South America, Europe, Australia, Israel and North America.  He is an international sire of winners with get including 1986 Israeli National Champion Stallion SHAJI, 1982 South African National Champion Stallion SHAH JAHAN (a sire of South African National Champions) and European Champion Mare KAZRA EL SAGHIRA (dam of British National Ridden Champion KAZMIEREK and Spanish National Junior Champion Filly KATUN). SHAKHS is a full brother to 2 National winners: U.S. Top Five Futurity Filly SHAHIRA and U.S. National Champion Native Costume and multi-National Champion halter RAYEK+++ (the top winning son of *MORAFIC). SHAKHS’ sire *MORAFIC sired 30 National winners and 39 producers of National winners. He appears four times in DONATELLO KA’s ancestry. SHAKHS’ dam *SHIAA++ was a U.S. Top Ten Mare and Region 9 Reserve Champion Stock Horse. She produced 3 champions and 2 National winners from her 4 registered offspring.

DB SHAHLAHA is out of AK MAHLAHA, also dam of sporthorse halter and dressage blue ribbon winner TFR IBN MAHLAHA. DB SHAHLAHA is her only breeding offspring. AK MAHLAHA is a daughter of U.S. Top Ten Stallion *IBN MONIET EL NEFOUS, who sired 11 National winners in halter and performance. 12 of his daughters have produced National winners. Her dam *SOHEIR II produced 4 champions and 2 champion producers including U.S. National Champion Futurity Filly and National Champion producer HEBET ALLAH and National winner producer AK AMHEIR (dam of U.S. Top Ten Futurity Filly RA ANEESA). She is also the dam of IMPERIAL AL AHBAB, dam of ZT ALI BABA+/, the most successful straight Egyptian racehorse in North America whose record includes multiple stakes wins. Thus DONATELLO KA comes from an exceptional heritage of Egyptian horses noted not only for their beauty but for their athletic talent.
